ABSTRACT Skripsi ini berjudul "Pasukan Belanda Divisi 7 Desember : Pemulihan Kekuasaan Di Jawa Barat Tahun 1947-1950". Secara umum penelitian ini membahas mengenai peranan Pasukan Divisi 7 Desember dalam memulihkan kekuasan Belanda di wilayah Jawa Barat tahun 1947-1950. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab pertanyaan utama yaitu " Bagaimana Peranan Pasukan Divisi 7 Desember Dalam Memulihkan Kekuasaan Belanda Di Jawa Barat Tahun 1947-1950" yang diuraikan menjadi rumusan masalah penelitian diantaranya (1) Apakah yang melatarbelakangi munculnya kembali Belanda di Indonesia tahun 1947-1950?; (2) Bagaimana pergerakan Pasukan Divisi 7 Desember untuk memulihkan kekuasaan Belanda pada wilayah Jawa Barat tahun 1947-1950?; dan (3) Bagaimana dampak dari hadirnya Pasukan Divisi 7 Desember terhadap perjuangan kemerdekaan Indonesia tahun 1947-1950?; Penelitian ini menggunakan metode historis yang meliputi heuristik, kritik, interpretasi dan historiografi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Pasukan Divisi 7 Desember merupakan suatu kesatuan Belanda yang didatangkan langsung dari Belanda untuk melakukan tugas pengamanan,ketertiban dan juga pengambilalihan wilayah Jawa Barat. Selama berada di Indonesia Pasukan Divisi 7 Desember ikut serta dalam Agresi militer Belanda I dan II serta selain itu pula pasukan ini juga memonopoli perdagangan di wilayah Jawa Barat. Kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Pasukan Divisi 7 Desember ini hanya bertahan selama tiga tahun dan karena tugas yang diemban Divisi 7 Desember selama berada di Indonesia berdampak terhadap pandangan rakyat Indonesia yang melihat bahwa Divisi 7 Desember memiliki citra yang buruk. ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled "The Dutch Army, December 7th Division: Restoration of Power in West Java 1947-1950". In general, this research discusses the role of the 7 December Division Forces in restoring Dutch power in the West Java region during 1947-1950. This research was conducted to answer the main question, namely "How was the role of the 7 December Division Forces in Restoring Dutch Power in West Java in 1947-1950" which was described as a formulation of research problems including (1) What was the background for the re-emergence of the Dutch in Indonesia in 1947-1950? ; (2) How was the movement of the 7 December Division Troops to restore Dutch control to the West Java region during 1947-1950 ?; and (3) How was the impact of the presence of the 7 December Division Forces on the struggle for Indonesian independence in 1947-1950 ?; This research uses historical methods which include heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. Based on the research results, the December 7th Division troops were a Dutch unit brought directly from the Netherlands to carry out security, order and takeover of the West Java region. While in Indonesia, the 7 December Division troops participated in the Dutch Military Aggression I and II and besides that these troops also monopolized trade in the West Java region. The activities carried out by the 7 December Division Forces only lasted three years and because of the duties carried out by the December 7 Division while in Indonesia it had an impact on the view of the Indonesian people who saw that the December 7 Division had a bad image.
