Penelitian ini membahas mengenai konstruksi wacana menggunakan analisis wacana kritis terhadap teks berita daring sport diplomacy Korea saat Olimpiade PyeongChang 2018. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dimensi teks berupa struktur makro, superstruktur, struktur mikro dan dimensi konteks sosial yang muncul pada teks berita daring Republik Korea. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori analisis wacana kritis model Teun A. van Dijk dengan metode deskritif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat 10 objek berita daring sport diplomacy Korea yang secara keseluruhan dimensi teks dari beberapa berita ini menerapkan elemen-elemen yang ada dalam wacana model van Dijk seperti struktur makro, superstruktur dan struktur mikro. Pada dimensi konteks sosial, wacana beberapa berita daring sport diplomacy Korea ini dipengaruhi oleh kekuasaan dan akses yang dilakukan oleh pemerintahan Moon Jae In sehingga dapat mempengaruhi dan menguasai segala macam situasi yang terjadi pada saat Olimpiade PyeongChang 2018. Meskipun begitu, pada saat Olimpiade PyeongChang sukses menciptakan Olimpiade perdamaian di semenanjung Korea. This research discusses discourse construction using critical discourse analysis of online news text Korean sports diplomacy during the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics. The study aimed to determine the dimensions of the text namely the macro structure, superstructure, microstructure and dimensions of the social context that appear in the online news text of Republic of Korea. This study used a critical analysis discourse theory of Teun A. van Dijk with a descriptive qualitative method. Based on the study results, there are 10 objects of Korean sport diplomacy online news text which in overall text dimensions of some of these news apply elements that exist in van Dijk's model discourse such as macro structure, superstructure, and micro structure. In the dimension of the social context, the discourse of some Korean sport diplomacy online news, it is influence by the power and access exercised by the Moon Jae In government so that it can influence in control all kinds of situations that occurred during the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics. Even so, the PyeongChang Olympics succeeded in creating a peace Olympics on the Korea peninsula.
