Summary: | The purpose of this research is to develop performance assessment instruments of skill competency in the subjects of maintenance chassis and power transfer light vehicle and to know the feasibility of maintenance chassis and power transfer light vehicle performance assessment instruments developed. This research method uses quantitative method with descriptive approach, the type of research is research and development using 4-D Models development model by Thiagaradjan. Data collection techniques in the form of the dissemination of questionnaires with a scale of Likert 2 choices of answers. The results of the research, the development of performance assessment instruments consists of four stages, the definition stage consists of initial analysis, curriculum analysis, and goal formulation. The design stage consists of arranging instrument references by creating matrices and arranging assessment instrument materials, determining media and formats, and drawing up initial designs. the development stage consists of validation test and due diligence. The results of the assessment of performance assessment instruments validation conducted by six judgment experts consisting of three lecturers and three teachers' subject. The feasibility test results of performance assessment instruments were conducted with three lecturers, three teachers and 32 students of Teknik Kendaraan Ringan at SMK Pekerjaan Umum Negeri Bandung. The stage of distribution, performance assessment instruments of development results are submitted to the school. This research develops performance assessment instruments competency skills that are valid and feasible to use. The results of validation assessment of performance assessment instruments conducted by judgment experts have scores that fall into the valid category, as well as the results of performance assessment instrument feasibility assessment results obtained from lecturers, teachers, and student responses, which then conducted statistical tests using Kruskal-Wallis Test found no significant difference between the results of the assessment of lecturers, teachers and student responses. Based on the eligibility test of lecturers, teachers and student responses obtained a score of 92% with the category "Very Feasible". |
