Summary

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP dengan pembelajaran matematika realistik berbantuan GeoGebra. Selain itu dianalisis juga respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika realistik berbantuan GeoGebra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen. Peneliti menggunakan dua kelas dimana kelas pertama sebagai kelompok yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika realistik berbantuan GeoGebra sedangkan kelas kedua sebagai kelompok yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika realistik tanpa berbantuan GeoGebra. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Sebelum melakukan penelitian, instrumen tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis terlebih dahulu diujicoba untuk mengetahui kualitas instrumen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tes valid dan reliabel sehingga dapat digunakan untuk pretes dan postes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika realistik berbantuan GeoGebra lebih baikdaripada siswa yangmemperoleh pembelajaran matematika realistik tanpa GeoGebra. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat respon yang positif dari siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan GeoGebra. Kata kunci: realistik, GeoGebra, komunikasi matematis. The purpose of this study is to analyze the mathematical communication of students in Junior High School in whichRealistic Mathematics Education with GeoGebra is used. In addition, it also analyzed the students' responses toward Realistic Mathematics Education with GeoGebra. The study used a quasi-experiment method. Two classes involved in this study which the first as a group that implemented by Realistic Mathematics Education with GeoGebra, while the second class as a group that implemented by Realistic Mathematics Education withoutGeoGebra. It was held in SMP Negeri 1 Lembang. Before doing research, the test instrument of mathematical communication firstly tested to determine the quality of the instrument. According to the analyze result, the instrument is valid and realiable, so it can be used for pretest and posttest. The result of this study showed that mathematical communication of students who learned mathematics using Realistic Mathematics Education with GeoGebra better than students who learned mathematics using Realistic Mathematics Education withoutGeoGebra. The result also indicated that there's a positive response from students toward Realistic Mathematics Education with GeoGebra. Key Words: Realistic, GeoGebra, Mathematical communication.
