| Summary: | ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh Sisa Hasil Usaha (SHU) Koperasi Serba Usaha Kabupaten Garut yang mengalami penurunan secara berturut-turut dari tahun 2015-2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari modal dan volume usaha terhadap SHU. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Koperasi Serba Usaha tahun 2015-2019 yang terdaftar di Dinas dan UKM Kabupaten Garut. Sampel yang digunakannya yaitu sampel jenuh sehingga seluruhnya dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini. Jumlah keseluruhan koperasi aktif sebanyak 673 koperasi, namun 352 koperasi yang dijadikan sampel dikarenakan memiliki data laporan keuangan yang lengkap. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey eksplanatori dan memperoleh data sekunder dengan teknik dokumentasi yang didapatkan dari pihak Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Garut. Teknik analisis data yaitu analisis regresi data panel dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa modal tidak berpengaruh terhadap SHU sedangkan volume usaha berpengaruh positif terhadap SHU. Secara bersama-sama modal dan volume usaha tidak berpengaruh terhadap SHU. Kata kunci: Modal Koperasi, Volume usaha, Sisa Hasil Usaha (SHU) ABSTRACT The background of the study is the net income (SHU) of multi-purpose cooperative in Garut that decreased from 2015-2019. This research was aimed to investigate the effect of capital and the business volume on the net income (SHU). The population of this study is all multi-purpose cooperative at the year 2015-2019 registered in Cooperatives and Small and Medium enterprise Office (Dinas Koperasi dan UKM) of Garut. The sample that used in this study is saturated sample, so all of the cooperatives were used as the sample. The total amount of multi-purpose cooperative in Garut is 673, but there are only 352 cooperatives as the sample of this research since they have complete data account. The method of this study was explanatory survey which gather the secondary data using documentation technique from Cooperatives and Small and Medium enterprise Office (Dinas Koperasi and UKM) of Garut. The data were analysed using regression data analysis panel and linear regression analysis. The result of this study showed that the capital didn't affect the net income (SHU), while the volume has positive affect towards the net income (SHU).
