Tesis. Bandung. SPs UPI Bandung. Kehadiran juri dalam suatu kompetisi merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Salah satu cabang olahraga yang tidak terukur, senam mensyaratkan seorang juri untuk dapat bertindak objektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap tentang pengaruh manajemen stres dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja juri senam artistik putri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasi. Sampel terdiri dari 13 orang juri senam artistik putri yang memiliki lisensi nasional maupun internasional, jenis kelamin perempuan, pengalaman melakukan penjurian pada kejuaraan Nasional maupun Internasional, usia berkisar antara 22 - 64 tahun, dan pendidikan minimal SMA. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuisoner dan penilaian dari expert. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Uji Regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; tidak ada hubungan antara manajemen stres dengan kinerja juri senam artistik putri, sedangkan variabel kompetensi menunjukkan korelasi yang cukup kuat dengan kinerja juri senam artistik putri dan secara bersama-sama terdapat korelasi antara manajemen stres dan kompetensi dengan kinerja. Kesimpulan penelitian, kinerja seorang juri cabang olahraga senam nomor artistik putri dipengaruhi oleh manajemen stres dan kompetensi. Saran penelitian, setiap juri senam artistik putri harus memiliki kemempuan dalam mengelola stres dibekali kompetensi yang memadai sesuai nomor yang digeluti. Thesis. Bandung. SPs UPI Bandung. The attendance of jury in a competition is the important thing. One of the sport branch which can't be measured, gymnastic require the jury to be an objective. The aim of this research to reveal abaut the influence of the stress and competence management to the performance of jury at woman artistic gymnastic. The method is used for this research is the deskriptive correlation. Sample consist of is people jury of woman artistic gymnastic who has national or even internasional lisence, the gender is woman, experience in judging of National oe International games, the age araund at 22 - 26 years old, and the minimum education is senior high school (SMA). The instrument that use in questionnaire and the appraisal from the expert the analysis of data in this research is using regression test. The result of this research show that: there is no connection between stress management with the performance of jury at woman artistic gymnastic, but the variabel of competence show that correlation has strong enaugh connection with the performance of jury at woman artistic gymnastic and along with that there are correlation between stress management and competence in performance. The conclution of this research, performance a jury at branch sports of gymnastic at woman artistic is influenced by stress management and competence. The aduice of this research, every jury at woman gymnastic must to have ability in arrange stress and be provided the competence which is with the jury occupy.
