| Summary: | ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul "Keefektifan Strategi Quick on the Draw Untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Kosakata Bahasa Korea Dalam Keterampilan Membaca (Penelitian Kuasi Eksperimen pada Siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Dawuan)". Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penguasaan kosakata bahasa Korea pada siswa kelas XI sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan strategi Quick on the Draw. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa tes dan angket. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 25 siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Dawuan. Pengaruh yang signifikan atau tidaknya penggunaan strategi Quick on the Draw dalam penggunaan kosakata bahasa Korea, dapat diketahui setelah dilakukan analisa data sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya perlakuan (treatment). Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa nilai saat pretest yaitu 67 dan setelah diterapkan strategi Quick on the Draw nilai post-test yaitu 84. Hasil pengujian hipotesis yang didapatkan t_(hitung ) = 18,35 dengan db = 24, pada taraf signifikansi 5% ditemukan t_(tabel )= 2,063. Sehingga hasilnya t_(hitung )> t_(tabel ) yang artinya H_1 diterima dan H_0 ditolak. Dari hasil analisa tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi Quick on the Draw efektif sangat signifikan mampu meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Korea. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan Membaca, Kosakata Bahasa Korea, Strategi Pembelajaran, Strategi Quick on the Draw ABSTRACT The title of this study is "The Effectiveness of the 'Quick on the Draw' Strategy to Improve the Mastery of Korean Language Vocabulary in Reading Skills (A Quasi Experimental Study in Class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Dawuan)" the purpose of this reserach is to find out the Korean vocabulary mastery in class XI before and after using the 'Quick on the Draw' strategy. This study uses a quantitative method with a 'one group pretest-posttest' research design. The data collection techniques that is used are tests and questionnaires. The number of the samples used are 25 students from class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Dawuan. The significant effect of the 'Quick on the Draw' strategy, in the use of the Korean language vocabulary, can be found after the data analysis is carried out before and after the treatment. The results of the data analysis show that the pretest value is 67. After the 'Quick on the Draw' strategy is applied, the posttest value is 84. The results of hypothesis testing are t_(count ) = 18,35 with db = 24, at the 5% significance level, it is found t_(table ) = 2,063. Therefore, the result is t_(count ) > t_(table ), which means H_1 is accepted and H_0 is rejected. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the 'Quick on the Draw' strategy is significantly effective in improving Korean vocabulary mastery.
