Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa pada materi segitiga dan segiempat serta mendeskripsikan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa ditinjau dari self esteem. Berdasarkan dari tujuan penelitian, maka dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa: tes tertulis, wawancara dan angket self esteem. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Cianjur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa secara keseluruhan dalam materi segitiga dan segiempat memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 77% dari skor ideal, berdasarkan interpretasi tingat berpikir kreatif matematis termasuk kedalam kategori baik. 2) Tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif (TKBK) pada materi segitiga dan segiempat yang muncul dalam penelitian ini ada 4 tingkatan yakni TKBK 4 (Sangat Kreatif) ada 9 siswa, TKBK 3 (Kreatif) ada 9 siswa, TKBK 2 (Cukup Kreatif) ada 5 siswa, dan TKBK 1 (Kurang Kreatif) ada 9 siswa. 3) tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada self esteem tinggi cenderung siswa yang mempunyai tingkat kemampuan berpikir sangat kreatif (TKBK 4) yang mampu memenuhi aspek flexibility, originality dan fluency dengan menunjukkan rasa optimis dan percaya diri. 4) pada self esteem sedang cenderung siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif (TKBK 3) yang hanya mampu memenuhi aspek flexibility atau originality saja dengan menunjukkan rasa kurang percaya diri terhadap kemampuannya. 5) pada self esteem rendah cenderung siswa yang mempunyai tingkat kemampuan berpikir kurang kreatif (TKBK 1) yang hanya memenuhi aspek fluency dengan menunjukkan rasa tidak percaya diri terhadap kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Kata Kunci : Berpikir kreatif matematis, self esteem, segitiga dan segiempat The purpose of this research was to obtain a description of students 'mathematical creative thinking skills in triangles and squares and to describe the level of students' mathematical creative thinking skills based on self-esteem. Based on the research objectives, the research used a qualitative descriptive research approach and the type of case study research. The data collection techniques used were written tests, interviews and self-esteem questionnaires. The subjects of this study were students of class VII SMPN 2 Cianjur. The results showed that: 1) the overall level of students' mathematical creative thinking skills in the triangles and squares obtained a percentage value of 77%, based on the interpretation of the level of mathematical creative thinking included in the good category. 2) There are 4 levels of creative thinking skills in the triangles and squares that appear in this study, namely TKBK 4 (Very Creative), 9 students, TKBK 3 (Creative) 9 students, TKBK 2 (Creative Enough) 5 students, and TKBK 1 (Less Creative) there are 9 students. 3) the level of mathematical creative thinking skills in terms of high self-esteem tends to students who have a very creative thinking ability level (TKBK 4) who are able to meet the aspects of flexibility, originality and fluency by showing a sense of optimism and confidence. 4) In moderate self-esteem, students who have the ability to think creatively (TKBK 3) are only able to fulfill the flexibility or originality aspects by showing a lack of confidence in their abilities. 5) low self-esteem tends to students who have a level of ability to think less creatively (TKBK 1) who only fulfill the fluency aspect by showing insecurity about their abilities.
