Fast fashion merupakan ancaman bagi lingkungan. Dan eco fashion adalah salah satu solusi melawan pencemaran lingkungan. Penulis mengaplikasikan konsep desain tekstil eco fashion, pada pakaian remaja. Material utamanya adalah kain perca yang diambil dari pemasok limbah di daerah Cigondewah, Bandung. Tujuan lainnya, menciptakan karya tekstil eco fashion dengan mengekspresikan bentuk visual dan teknik yang diterapkan. Tekniknya adalah "stitching" yang merupakan bagian dari seni memanipulasi kain. Produk pemanfaatan limbah perca yang ada di pasaran sendiri, cenderung monoton dan kurang inovasi. Ini menjadi tantangan bagi penulis, bagaimana mengeksplorasi kain perca dengan teknik stitching yang diterapkan pada pakaian remaja eco fashion. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan cara riset melalui studi literatur, observasi, dan eksplorasi. Hasilnya, tercipta tujuh buah karya yang terdiri dari tiga pakaian remaja laki - laki dan empat pakaian remaja perempuan, berkonsep eco fashion dengan judul koleksi "Exploration For Change". Hasil eksplorasi bahan perca dengan teknik stitching menghasilkan dua visual, yaitu visual abstrak dan visual dekoratif. Visual abstrak dihasilkan dari olahan perca dengan teknik stitching yang disusun secara acak. Sedangkan visual dekoratif, dihasilkan dari olahan perca dengan teknik stitching yang disusun dengan rapi mengikuti pola. Penerapan hasil olahan perca diterapkan pada pakaian eco fashion. Diharapkan bisa menarik minat masyarakat terutama remaja sebagai generasi muda untuk memilih pakaian ramah lingkungan. Fast fashion is a threat for the environment. And eco fashion is a solution to against environmental pollution. The author applies the concept of textile design eco fashion to teenage clothing. The main material is patchwork taken from a waste supplier in the Cigondewah area, Bandung. Another goal is to create textile works eco fashion by expressing the visual form and techniques applied. The technique that used is "stitching" which is part of the art of manipulating fabric. The use of patchwork waste products on the market tends to be monotonous and lack of innovation. His is a challenge for the author, how to explore patchwork with techniques stitching that are applied to teenage clothes eco fashion. The method that used in this work was done by doing the research through literature study, observation, and exploration. As a result, seven pieces were created, consisting of three men's clothes and four women's clothes with the concept of eco fashion with the collection title "Exploration for Change". The results of the exploration of patchwork with techniques stitching resulted in two visuals, namely visual abstract and visual decorative. Abstract visuals are generated from patchwork with techniques stitching arranged randomly. Meanwhile, visual decorative is produced from patchwork with techniques stitching which are arranged neatly according to the pattern. The application of patchwork with the techniques used is applied to the clothing section eco fashion. Hopefully, it can attract the interest of the community, especially teenagers as the younger generation, to choose environmentally friendly clothing.
