This research stimulated by the low level of student learning outcomes on the material properties of plane. The aim of this research is obtain data about the activity of students, student response, and increased student learning outcomes by applying the contextual approach. Methods used is classroom action research model Kemmis & McTagart. Subject of study is students of class V SDN Bukanagara Lembang. The results showed that the application of the contextual approach can improve learning outcomes, activities, and got positive response from students. The average score on the cycle I, II, and III, i.e. 72,62; 81,65; and 89,62. It is recommended for teachers to apply a contextual approach in order to increase activity and student learning outcomes. Penerapan Pendekatan Kontekstual untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Materi Sifat-sifat Bangun Datar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi sifat-sifat bangun datar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh data mengenai aktivitas siswa, respon siswa, dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis & McTagart. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SDN Bukanagara Lembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dapat meningkatkan aktivitas, hasil belajar, serta mendapat respon positif dari siswa. Nilai rata-rata pada siklus I, II, dan III yaitu 72,62; 81,65; dan 89,62. Maka direkomendasikan bagi guru untuk menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual guna meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.
