Summary:This research based on the phenomenon of switching from conventional learning to full e-learning which is part of the impact of the physical distance policy in adapting to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. SMP Negeri 30 Bandung is one of the schools that uses Schoology as an alternative media for e-learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the effectiveness of Schoology-based e-learning learning in increasing civilian knowledge that students can play with Civics Education subjects. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of Schoology-based learning planning that is applied in SMP Negeri 30 Bandung; Schoology-based e-learning implementation; and analyzing schoology-based e-learning in increasing students' civic knowledge in terms of learning completeness of at least 70%. This type of research is a sequential mixed method using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research sample used a random sampling technique to grade VII students of SMP Negeri 30 Bandung in the academic year 2020/2021 with a total of 75 people. The results showed (1) Schoology-based learning planning was categorized as good with an average proportion of 72.6%; (2) the results of observations of the implementation of learning are in the good category with an average proportion of 75.6% and the teacher's classroom management ability is categorized as very good with an average proportion of 80%; (3) the proportion of completeness of learning students was 70.7%, indicating that most of the students had been able to achieve the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) absorption
