Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas alat ukur Generic Conspiracist Beliefs (GCB) yang diadaptasi dari Brotherton, French, dan Pickering (2013) di Indonesia. Dalam proses adaptasi dilakukan dua kali modifikasi untuk menghasilkan alat ukur yang fit. Sehingga hasil akhir didapatkan alat ukur GCB dengan 14 item. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan program JASP versi 0.14.1. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 209 Warga Negara Indonesia yang berusia 18 tahun ke atas. Hasil uji exploratory factor analysis menunjukkan bahwa alat ukur GCB memiliki dua faktor yaitu General Conspiracy dan Extraterrestrial Cover-Up. Hasil uji confirmatory factor analysis menunjukkan bahwa model fit dengan nilai indeks kecocokan sebesar 0.067 (RMSEA), 0.904 (GFI), 0,934 (CFI) dan 0,921 (TLI). Selain itu, uji validitas konvergen dan diskriminan menunjukkan bahwa alat ukur GCB yang diadaptasi kedalam Bahasa Indonesia valid. Sementara itu, reliabilitas dengan koefisien Alpha Cronbach sebesar 0.862 dan menunjukkan bahwa alat ukur ini reliabel. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat ukur GCB versi Indonesia secara psikometri valid dan reliabel. The aim of this study was to examine the validity and reliability of of Generic Conspiracist Beliefs Scale (GCB) which is adapted from Brotherton, French, dan Pickering (2013) in Indonesia. In adaptation process two modifications were conducted to produce a fit Scale. The final result is a GCB Scale with 14 items. Item analysed using progam JASP 0.14.1. The subject of this study is 209 Indonesian citizens aged 18 years and above. The result of exploratory factor analysis show GCB Scale has two factors named General Conspiracy and Extraterrestrial Cover-Up. The result of confirmatory factor analysis show this scale's model is good fit with fit indexes 0.067 (RMSEA), 0.904 (GFI), 0.934 (CFI) dan 0.921 (TLI). The result of convergent and discriminant validity show GCB Scale that adapted to Indonesia is valid. The reliability with coefficient Alpha Cronbach method is 0,93 and it show this scale is reliable. In sum, this research indicates that the Generic Conspiracist Beliefs Scale Indonesian Version is a psychometrically valid and reliable.
