Penelitian ini menganalisis evaluasi implementasi kebijakan RPJMD (Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah) Kota Sukabumi Tahun 2018-2023 yang telah dilaksanakan tahun 2019 dan 2020 pada beberapa program yaitu program pendidikan wajib belajar sembilan tahun, program peningkatan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, dan program manajemen pelayanan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk a. mengalisis proses implementasi RPJMD bidang pendidikan, b. menggambarkan keberhasilan/evaluasi implementasi RPJMD bidang pendidikan, c. mengalaisis faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi RPJMD Kota Sukabumi bidang pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif pendekatan kualitatif yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan dua narasumber yaitu kepala bidang pemerintahan dan pembangunan manusia, dan kepala subbidang pendidikan BAPPEDA Kota Sukabumi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa a. Implementasi RPJMD Kota Sukabumi Bidang Pendidikan yang telah dilaksanakan tahun 2019 dan 2020 pada program pendidikan dasar wajib belajar sembilan tahun, program peningkatan mutu pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, dan program manajemen pelayanan pendidikan sebagian besar berjalan efektif, b. Evaluasi RPJMD Kota Sukabumi Bidang Pendidikan yang diimplementasikan tahun 2019 dan 2020 sudah menjawab dan mengatasi sebagian masalah pendidikan di Kota Sukabumi , c. faktor pendukung dalam mengimplementasikan kebijakan RPJMD Bidang Pendidikan yaitu sumber daya manusia yang cukup memadai, komitmen pemerintah, sosialiasi, koordinasi, motivasi, dan dukungan masyarakat sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu belum merata distribusi guru antar sekolah, masih ada sekolah yang berakreditasi B, sarana prasarana yang belum maksimal, dan pandemi covid19.
