Perkembangan kemajuan teknologi saat ini, industri konstruksi turut mengalami penyesuaian agar tidak tertinggal dan menjadi efisien salah satunya dengan dimunculkan sistem yang lebih dikenal dengan Building Information Modelling (BIM). Penerapan teknologi BIM (Building Information Modelling) pun ikut merubah sarana pembelajaran pendidikan di era modern ini yang mana pembelajarannya kebanyakan dilakukan secara praktek. Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur merupakan salah satu pendidikan vokasi yang model pembelajarannya kebanyakan dilakukan secara praktek. Hal ini menjadi salah satu landasan penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa DPTA FPTK UPI mengenai sistem BIM untuk menghadapi dunia kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) persepsi mahasiswa DPTA FPTK UPI mengenai sistem BIM untuk menghadapi dunia kerja cukup baik, 2) tingkat pengetahuan awal mahasiswa mengenai BIM masuk kedalam kategori sedang, 3) uji beda tingkat pengetahuan antara Prodi Teknik Arsitektur dan Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan namun Prodi Teknik Arsitektur lebih tinggi tingkat pengetahuan awalnya. Kata kunci: Persepsi, BIM. This research is motivated by the growth of technology that is developing quite rapidly in the industrial construction sector. The development of current technological advances, the construction industry also undergoes adjustments so as not to be left behind and become efficient, one of which is the emergence of a system better known as Building Information Modeling (BIM). The application of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology has also changed the means of educational learning in this modern era where most of the learning is done in practice. The Department of Architectural Engineering Education is a vocational education whose learning model is mostly done in practice. This is one of the foundations of this research which aims to find out the perceptions of DPTA FPTK UPI students regarding the BIM system to face the world of work. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods and data collection techniques using questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the perception of DPTA FPTK UPI students regarding the BIM system to face the world of work is quite good, 2) the level of students initial knowledge about BIM is in the medium category, 3) a test of the difference in the level of knowledge between the Architectural Engineering Study Program and the Engineering Education Study Program. There is no significant difference in architecture but the Architectural Engineering Study Program has a higher level of initial knowledge. Keywords: Perception, BIM. |
