Summary:ABSTRAK Tujuan keterampilan berbiacara siswa Sekolah Dasar yaitu melatih siswa untuk berani tampil dan mengeluarkan pendapat di depan rekan-rekannya. Penelitian ini dilatabelakangi karena lemahnya kemampuan keterampilan berbicara siswa ditingkat Sekolah Dasar. Hal ini dipengaruhi adanya faktor pengajar yang masih memberikan pengajaran dengan memakai cara yang kuno (konvensional) sehingga mengakibatkan kurangnya interaksi dua arah antara siswa dengan guru. Dengan begitu pentingnya keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Indonesia, peneliti bermaksud memberikan salah satu materi dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan mengimplementasikan model Cooperative Learning tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Metode dalam penelitian yaitu menggunakan pre experimental menggunakani design one group pretest-posttest. Yang menjadi subjek penelitian ialah siswa kelas IV SDN 04 Wanasari Kabupaten Bekasi sebanyak 20 orang. Instrumen yang diberikan yaitu test tertulis dan observasi. Data yangi berhasil dicari lalui diselesaikan dan dianalisis agar melihat pengaruh model cooperative tipe think pair share (TPS) terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa di kelas IV tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Dengan itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa model cooperative learning tipe think pair share (TPS) memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan berbicara peserta didik. ----- ABSTRACT The purpose of the skills of elementary school students is to train students to dare to appear and express their opinions in front of their peers. This research is motivated by the lack of speech skills of students at the elementary school level. This is influenced by the teacher factor that still provides teaching in an old-fashioned (conventional) way that results in a lack of two-way interaction between students and teachers. With the importance of Indonesian language speaking skills, researchers intend to provide one of the materials in Bahasa Indonesia lessons by implementing a Cooperative Learning model of Think Pair Share (TPS) type. The method in the study is to use pre experimental using design one group pretest-posttest. The subject of the study was grade 4 students at SDN 04 Wanasari Bekasi Regency as many as 20 people. The instruments provided are written tests and observations. The data that was successfully searched through was completed and analyzed to see the influence of cooperative model type think pair share (TPS) on students' speaking ability in grade IV elementary school level. The results showed that the yield of significance (2-tailed) was 0.000. Thus, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model type think pair share (TPS) has a positive influence on the speaking skills of learners.
