(Pembimbing I), dan Dr. Yusi Riksa Yustiana, M.Pd (Pembimbing II). Program Studi Bimbingan Dan Konseling, Sekolah Pascasarjana UPI. Siswa yang memiliki gangguan kecemasan akibat serangan asma perlu mendapat pertolongan segera dari guru Bimbingan dan Konseling/guru BK/konselor sekolah sekolah, agar siswa dapat beraktivitas dengan nyaman kembali tanpa terganggu oleh kecemasan. Tujuan penelitian untuk menghasilkan program konseling desensitisasi sistematis dalam mereduksi kecemasan akan serangan asma, pada layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling di SMP. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan desain Research and Development meliputi tahapan: (1) Studi Pendahuluan, tujuannya untuk menganalisa kebutuhan akan program konseling desensitisasi sistematis dalam mereduksi kecemasan akan serangan asma; dengan melakukan studi pustaka dan survey lapangan serta membuat desain awal model; (2) Pengembangan draft model, bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain awal dan melihat keterlaksanaan model yang diajukan, dengan melakukan uji coba model secara terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) profil tingkat kecemasan akan serangan asma pada siswa SMP di Kabupaten Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2020-2021 berada pada kategori tingkat kecemasan sedang; (2) rumusan program konseling desensitisasi sistematis dalam mereduksi kecemasan akan serangan asma dapat dilihat dari terlaksananya layanan bimbingan dan konseling di SMP melalui strategi konseling kelompok yang digunakan pada sesi membangun hubungan baik, menyusun hierarki kecemasan, latihan relaksasi, refleksi dan evaluasi, serta strategi konseling individual pada sesi desensitisasi yaitu mencakup proses paparan, imagery & relaksasi (jika siswa mengalami kondisi tegang pada saat proses paparan dan imagery). Students who have anxiety disorders due to asthma attacks need to get immediate help from the Guidance and Counseling teacher/school counselor, so that students can return to their activities comfortably without being disturbed by anxiety. The aim of this research is to produce a hypothetical program of systematic desensitization counseling in reducing anxiety about asthma attacks, in Guidance and Counseling services in junior high schools. The research procedure uses a Research and Development design, covering the stages: (1) Preliminary Study, aims to analyze the need for a systematic desensitization counseling program in reducing anxiety about asthma attacks; by conducting literature studies and field surveys as well as making the initial design of the model; (2) Development of a draft model, which aims to develop an initial design and see the implementation of the proposed model, by conducting a limited trial of the model. The results showed: (1) the profile of anxiety levels of asthma attacks in junior high school students in Bandung Regency for the academic year 2020-2021 obtained information that the average score was at a moderate level of anxiety;); (2) the formulation of a program of systematic desensitization counseling in reducing anxiety about asthma attacks can be seen from the implementation of guidance and counseling services in junior high schools through group counseling strategies used in building rapport sessions, compiling anxiety hierarchies, relaxation exercises, reflection and evaluation, and strategies individual counseling in the desensitization session which includes the process of exposure, imagery & relaxation (if students experience tense condition during the exposure and imagery process).
