Summary:Keterampilan berbicara memegang peranan penting dalam upaya membina siswa di masa depan yang cerdas, kreatif, dan kritis.Penelitian ini membahas tentang keterampilan berbicara siswa di kelas IV sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran daring. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui keterampilan berbicara siswa; (2) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan dalam keterampilan berbicara; (3) mengidentifikasi solusi yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengatasi keterampilan berbicara siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu 5 siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Cipaisan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan tes lisan menceritakan kembali teks cerita fiksi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1) keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Cipaisan termasuk kedalam kategori cukup baik (2) faktor penyebab kesulitan berbicara yaitu kurangnya banyak membaca, kurang percaya diri, kemampuan siswa yang berbeda, dan kurang terlatihnya kegiatan berbicara pada saat pembelajaran daring selama ini (3) solusi yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengatasi sulitnya dalam keterampilan berbicara siswa pada pembelajaran daring yaitu dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran latihan dan pemberian motivasi siswa. ----- Speaking skills is an important role in efforts to foster students in the future who are diligent, creative, and critical. Speaking skills must still be trained in online learning during the pandemic. This study discusses the speaking skills of students in grade fourth elementary school in online learning. The aims of this research are (1) to know the students speaking skills; (2) knowing the factors that cause difficulties in speaking skills; (3) identify solutions that can be applied to overcome students speaking skills. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis. The research subjects were 5 fourth grade students at SDN 2 Cipaisan. The data collection technique is a speaking test by retelling the text of fiction stories and interviews. The results of this research are (1) the speaking skills of fourth grade students at SDN 2 Cipaisan are included in the fairly good category (2) the factors causing speaking difficulties are lack of reading, lack of confidence, different student abilities, and lack of training in speaking activities during online learning so far (3) the solutions that can be applied to overcome the difficulties in students speaking skills in online learning are to improve the factors that cause students speaking difficulties starting from the students themselves and things that are outside of students such as methods, models, and learning in online learning, as well as by practicing online speaking skills a lot.
