Summary

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan teknik REIS (Read, Explain, Imitation Style) dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Perancis di sekolah menengah atas (SMA), dan untuk mengetahui penggunaan teknik ini dalam pembelajaran bahasa perancis. Melalui teknik REIS diharapkan siswa dapat termotivasi untuk berlatih dan berbicara bahasa Prancis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa teknik REIS dapat diimplimentasikan dalam pembelajaran bahasa perancis karena teknik ini sangat mudah dan dapat membuat proses belajar mengajar tidak membosankan. Kata kunci: Teknik pembelajaran REIS, keterampilan berbicara. This paper aims to assess the use of technique REIS (Read, Explain, Imitation Style) in French speaking skills learning process in senior high school and in order to find out the use of this technique in French learning process in further. Through REIS technique, students are expected to be motivated in practicing and to speak French. The result showed that the technique seems quite simple thus, a tedious learning process could be avoided. Keywords: REIS learning technique, speaking skills
