Summary:ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the lack of optimal teachers in facilitating students, to develop imaginative creativity skills in history subjects in class X TKJ 1. The problems studied in this study are: First, how to plan learning through making videos in history learning. Second, how to carry out learning through making videos. Third, how are the results achieved by students through making videos. Fourth, what are the obstacles and solutions about increasing the imaginative creativity of students through making videos. This study aims to increase the imaginative creativity of students. This research uses classroom action research method with Elliott model research design. The design of this model has several stages including checking in the field, then planning actions, implementing actions, observing and reflecting then continuing with revising the existing deficiencies in three cycles and twelve actions. The results of this study indicate that through making videos, it has succeeded in increasing the imaginative creativity of students in learning history. This can be seen from the indicators of imaginative creativity observed, namely abstract thinking skills, the ability to offer creative imaginative solutions, collaborative, novelty, and expressive skills, showing the acquisitions in the sufficient and good categories. Starting with being a creative and imaginative teacher in empowering the knowledge, experience and imagination of students to become a source of creativity. Furthermore, through making videos, it can create fun learning, thus encouraging students to be creative and imaginative in producing a video project. Obstacles in this study include signal networks, students' lack of interest in reading and obstacles in conditioning students online. Keywords: Video Making, Imaginative Creativity, History Learning
