ABSTRAK Salah satu lagu permainan tradisional yang terkenal pada tahun 90-an adalah Gotri. Lagu Dolanan Gotri dimainkan sebagai ajang hiburan anak-anak untuk mengisi waktu luang bersama teman-temannya. Namun, Lagu Dolanan Gotri ini ternyata mempunyai pelajaran tersembunyi yang belum banyak dipahami masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan simbol dan makna yang terkandung dalam larik lagu permainan anak-anak berdasarkan perspektif semiotika. Dengan memaparkan (1) struktur Lagu Dolanan Gotri, (2) proses penciptaan, (3) proses pewarisan, (4) konteks penuturan, (5) fungsi, dan (6) makna Lagu Dolanan Gotri di Indramayu. Paparannya diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana edukasi tentang Lagu Dolanan Gotri sebagai tradisi lisan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian ini mengambil dari empat variasi teks yang berbeda dari tiga kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Indramayu, yaitu Kecamatan Jatibarang, Kecamatan Pasekan, Kecamatan Balongan, dan Kecamatan Sindang. Data penelitian yang berupa tuturan ditranskripsikan kemudian dikaji berdasarkan prosedur analisis teori Semiotika Barthes. Roland Barthes mengungkapkan tanda tidak hanya dari penanda dan petanda. Akan tetapi, menganalisisnya dengan makna denotatif dan konotatif. Analisis struktur teks lagu dilakukan dengan menganalisis unsur sintaksis, unsur bunyi, unsur irama, gaya bahasa, diksi, dan tema. Analisis proses penciptaan berkaitan dengan aspek spontanitas dan tekstualitas. Analisis proses pewarisan lagu dolanan anak dapat dilakukan dengan dua cara, yaitu secara vertikal dan horizontal. Konteks penuturan lagu terdiri dari konteks situasi dan konteks budaya. Analisis fungsi pada lagu dolanan anak menunjukkan bahwa teks Lagu Dolanan Gotri memiliki empat fungsi nilai moral dalam kehidupan, yaitu sistem proyeksi, sistem alat pengesahan pranata-pranata dan lembaga-lembaga kebudayaan, sebagai alat pendidikan anak, dan sebagai alat pemaksaan pengawas norma-norma masyarakat. Analisis makan pada teks Lagu Dolanan Gotri menunjukkan bahwa ada pemakanan kedua pada teks yang berkaitan tentang sindiran akan seks bebas di masyarakat Indramayu. Dengan demikian, penyampaian kritik sosial yang terdapat pada Lagu Dolanan Gotri dominan muncul pada diksi dan irama bunyi pada lagu. The song Dolanan Gotri is played as an entertainment venue for children to fill their spare time with their friends. However, this Dolanan Gotri song turn out to have a hidden lesson that many people don't understand. This research is driven to disclose symbols and meanings which are contained in the lyrics of traditional children's game song named-Dolanan Gotri-based on a semiotic perspective. This research analyzes 6 elements; (1) the song text structure, (2) the song creation process, (3) the song inheritance process, (4) the song context narration, (5) the song function, and (6) the song meaning in Indramayu. The result of this research is expected to be an educational tool about Dolanan Gotri song as an oral tradition of the local community. The method that is used in this research is a qualitative-descriptive method. The object of this research consisted of four different text variations from four sub-districts in Indramayu, namely Jatibarang sub-district, Pasekan sub-district, Balongan sub-district, and Sindang sub-district. The research data which are speeches were generally transcribed and studied based on the analysis procedure of Barthes' Semiotics theory. Roland Barthes reveal signs not only from signifier and signifieds. But, also analyzes them with denotative and connotative meanings. The results of this research are shown in the 6 following elements of analysis. First, the text structure analysis of Dolanan Gotri is conducted by analyzing elements of syntax, elements of sound, elements of rhythm, style of language, diction, and themes. Second, the creation process analysis of Dolanan Gotri is related to the aspects of spontaneity and textuality. Third, the inheritance process analysis of Dolanan Gotri can be conducted in two ways; vertically and horizontally. Fourth, the context narration of Dolanan Gotri consisted of situational context and cultural context. Fifth, the function analysis of Dolanan Gotri shows that the text of the song has four moral value functions in life, namely as a projection system, tools for ratifying cultural institutions, tools for children education systems, and tools for coercion and monitoring societal norms. Finally, the meaning analysis of Dolanan Gotri shows that there is a second meaning of the song text which is related to the satire of free sex portraits in Indramayu local community. Thus, the social criticism contained in Dolanan Gotri's song dominates the muns on the axioms and the rhthms of teh songs.
