Summary: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan di dunia pendidikan pada saat terjadinya pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia. Pengimplementasian kebijakan pembelajaran di era Pandemi Covid-19 dipenuhi dengan keterbatasan yang menuntut pendidik untuk lebih berkreasi dan berinovasi dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran. Fakta di lapangan dalam penyampaian pembelajaran masih didominasi oleh pemberian tugas tanpa adanya pemberian materi maupun pemaparan materi terlebih dahulu. Metode Blended Learning dinilai sebagai metode yang tepat untuk digunakan saat proses pembelajaran jarak jauh berlangsung. Metode ini dapat menjadi solusi atas permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan seperti meningkatkan semangat belajar peserta didik, meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik dan terutama permasalahan yang terjadi pada mata pelajaran PPKn. Metode ini dinilai dapat memfasilitasi ruang diskusi bagi pendidik dan peserta didik sehingga pendidikan karakter yang harus disampaikan pada mata pelajaran PPKn dapat tersampaikan dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini melalui wawancara, observasi dan teknik dokumentasi serta penelitian ini dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan serta melakukan validitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Implementasi kebijakan pembelajaran jarak jauh di SMA Labschool UPI Bumi Siliwangi sudah memenuhi 6 Variabel keberhasilan impelentasi suatu kebijakan, serta dalam pengimpelemntasiannya pembelajaran jarak jauh memiliki beberapa kekurangan dan kelebihan 2) Faktor penghambat dalam pengimplementasian kebijakan jarak jauh di SMA Labschool UPI Bumi Siliwangi yaitu: Infrastruktur, Peserta didik yang kurang aktif, Orang tua yang kurang kooperatif, dan kurangnya kedisiplinan peserta didik serta sulitnya menyampaikan pendidikan karakter. Adapun faktor pendukung dari pengimplementasian kebijakan pembelajaran jarak jauh di SMA Labschool UPI Bumi Siliwangi yaitu Kemampuan komunikasi antar implementor, pemenuhan fasilitas oleh bagian sarana dan prasarana, dukungan orang tua berupa penyediaan fasilitas serta kemampuan berinovasi pendidik. Adapun manfaat metode blended learning dalam proses pembelajaran jarak jauh di SMA Labschool UPI Bumi Siliwangi 1) Menciptakan ruang komunikasi 2) Proses pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dimana saja dan kapan saja 3) Dari segi administratif lebih tersusun rapi, 4) Keterbukaan dalam proses penilaian, 5) Lebih hemat biaya, 6) Memberikan ruang diskusi bagi mata pelajaran PPKn. Dari perspektif peserta didik penggunaan metode blended learning sendiri yaitu 1) Meningkatkan semangat belajar, 2) Membantu pemahaman materi, 3) Pendidikan karakter lebih tersampaikan. This research was motivated by several problems in the field of education during the Covid-19 pandemic that surges Indonesia. The implementation of learning policies in the Covid-19 Pandemic era is filled with limitations that require educators to be more creative and innovate in delivering learning materials, in which the facts in the field show that the delivery of learning materials is still dominated by assignments to students without any learning materials or material presentations beforehand. The Blended Learning method is considered as the right method to be used during the distance learning process. This method can be a solution for problems that occur in the field such as for increasing students' learning enthusiasm, for increasing students' understanding, and it can also be a solution especially for problems that occur in Pancasila and Civics subjects where this method is considered to be able to facilitate discussion space for educators and students so that the character education that should be delivered in Pancasila and Civics subjects can be delivered well. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques carried out in this study were through interviews, observation and documentation techniques, and then this research was analyzed by reducing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions and conducting data validity. The results of the study showed that 1) The implementation of distance learning policies at SMA Labschool UPI Bumi Siliwangi has met 6 variables of successful implementation of a policy, and in its implementation, distance learning has several advantages and disadvantages 2) The inhibiting factors in implementing distance learning policies at SMA Labschool UPI Bumi Siliwangi are: Infrastructure, students who are less active, parents who are less cooperative, and lack of students' discipline and the difficulty of delivering character education. The supporting factors for implementing distance learning policies at SMA Labschool UPI Bumi Siliwangi are the communication ability between implementers, facilities fulfillment by the facilities and infrastructure department, parental support in the form of providing facilities, and the educators' ability to innovate. The benefits of the blended learning method in the distance learning process at SMA Labschool UPI Bumi Siliwangi are: 1) Able to create communication space, 2) Able to do the learning process anywhere and anytime, 3) Be more organized in terms of administrative 4) Be more open in the assessment process, 5) Be more cost-effective, and 6) Able to provide discussion space for Pancasila and Civics subjects. From the students' perspective, the use of the blended learning method itself is able to: 1) increase students' learning enthusiasm, 2) help students in understanding the learning material, and 3) help students in getting more character education since it is more conveyed. |
