| Summary: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sistem honorifik bahasa Korea digunakan dalam lirik lagu K-POP (Korean Pop) dengan tema keluarga beserta faktor yang mempengaruhi penggunaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik analisis dokumen digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Kemudian, data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori sistem honorifik bahasa Korea menurut Kang, dkk. (2005) dan teori faktor sosial yang mempengaruhi penggunaan sistem honorifik bahasa Korea menurut Lee (2002). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 142 ungkapan sistem honorifik bahasa Korea yang digunakan di dalam lirik lagu K-POP dengan tema keluarga. Jenis sistem honorifik bahasa Korea yang paling banyak ditemukan, yaitu honorifik mitra tutur. Hal tersebut dikarenakan penulis lagu sering menggunakan akhiran kalimat. Penggunaan sistem honorifik bahasa Korea tersebut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, yaitu diantaranya usia, status sosial, hubungan keakraban, dan konteks. Sedangkan, faktor jenis kelamin tidak ditemukan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan penutur dan mitra tutur mempunyai usia dan status sosial yang berbeda. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan lirik lagu K-POP sebagai salah satu sumber belajar sistem honorifik bahasa Korea. This research aims to find out how the Korean honorific system is used in the lyrics of K-POP (Korean Pop) songs with the family theme and the factors that influence its use. This study employed a descriptive qualitative research design. Document analysis technique was used to collect the research data. Then, the research data were analyzed using the theory of Korean honorific system, as proposed by Kang et al. (2005) and the theory of social factors that influence the use of Korean language honorific system, as proposed by Lee (2002). The findings showed that there were 142 expressions of the Korean honorific system used in the lyrics of K-POP songs with family themes. The most common type of Korean honorific system was addressee honorific. This is because songwriters often use a sentence ending. The use of the Korean honorific system was influenced by various factors, including age, social status, intimate relationships, and context. Meanwhile, gender factor was not identified. This is because the speakers and their interlocutors have different age and social status. Based on the findings, this study recommends the use of K-POP song lyrics as a learning source of the Korean honorific system. |
