Persepsi dari setiap individu berbeda-beda dan banyak aspek yang mempengaruhi persepsi seseorang tentang hal apa pun termasuk dalam menentukan cita-cita atau target yang ingin dicapai. Orientasi atau arah rencana siswa setelah lulus dari SMK akan mengarah untuk bekerja, melanjutkan atau berwirausaha. Orientasi atau rencana siswa paska lulus akan berkaitan dengan persepsi siswa tentang Kompetensi Keahlian KGSP selama studi di Kompetensi Keahlian KGSP. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui persepsi siswa tentang Kompetensi Keahlian Konstruksi Gedung, Sanitasi, dan Perawatan (KGSP) di SMKN 1 Sukabumi, rencana siswa setelah lulus SMKN 1 Sukabumi, dan mendeskripsikan besaran hubungan persepsi siswa tentang Kompetensi Keahlian KGSP dengan orientasi paska lulus SMKN 1 Sukabumi. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena masih terdapat beberapa siswa yang belum memahami tentang Kompetensi Keahlian KGSP, adanya sebagian siswa yang belum paham tentang target kompetensi yang ingin dicapai setelah lulus dari SMK, dan adanya sebagian siswa yang belum mengetahui rencana setelah lulus dari Kompetensi Keahlian KGSP di SMKN 1 Sukabumi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif korelasional. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket, baik untuk variabel persepsi siswa dan orientasi paska lulus dari SMK. Temuan penelitian ini yakni: (1) persepsi siswa tentang Kompetensi Keahlian KGSP mempunyai kriteria yang tinggi; (2) orientasi paska lulus SMK termasuk kategori tinggi dan cenderung mengarah untuk bekerja setelah lulus; dan (3) hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara persepsi siswa tentang Kompetensi Keahlian KGSP dengan orientasi paska lulus SMKN 1 Sukabumi pada kategori sedang. The orientation or direction of the student's plan after graduating from vocational school will lead to work, continue or entrepreneurship. The orientation or plan of post-graduate students will be related to students' perceptions of KGSP Expertise Competence during studies in KGSP Expertise Competencies. The purpose of this study is to know students' perceptions of The Competence of Building Construction, Sanitation, and Care (KGSP) Expertise at SMKN 1 Sukabumi, student plans after graduation of SMKN 1 Sukabumi, and describe the magnitude of students' perception relationships about KGSP Expertise Competence with post-graduation orientation of SMKN 1 Sukabumi. This research is done because there are still some students who do not understand about KGSP Skills Competence, there are some students who do not understand about the competency targets to be achieved after graduating from vocational school, and there are some students who do not know the plan after graduating from KGSP Skills Competence at SMKN 1 Sukabumi. The research method used is a correlational descriptive method. Research instruments use questionnaires, both for student perception variables and post-graduate orientation from vocational school. The findings of this study are: (1) students' perception of KGSP Expertise Competence has high criteria; (2) post-graduate orientation of vocational school belongs to the high category and tends to lead to work after graduation; and (3) the results of this study show that there is a significant relationship between students' perception of KGSP Expertise Competence and the post-graduation orientation of SMKN 1 Sukabumi in the moderate category.
