Summary:Penelitian ini berjudul "Penerapan Prinsip Andragogi pada Program Parenting dalam Meningkatkan Pengasuhan Anak (Studi di PAUD Non Formal Insan Kamil Desa Giri Mekar Kecamatan Cilengkrang Kabupaten Bandung Provinsi Jawa Barat)". Latar belakang penulis mengambil judul ini karena kurangnya perhatian peserta program parenting dalam menstimulasi perkembangan emosi anak usia dini, kedua adanya latar belakang peserta yang beragam baik pendidikan, sosial, dan ekonomi sehingga memerlukan adanya penerapan prinsip andragogi. Ketiga, peserta tidak menyadari ketidakmampuan pengasuhan anak secara tepat dalam merespon emosi akan memperburuk perkembangan emosinya. Keempat, program parenting merupakan kegiatan yang penting untuk diselenggarakan bagi lembaga PAUD Non Formal Insan Kamil, namun sejauh ini belum diketahui adanya peningkatan kemampuan pengasuhan anak. Fokus penelitian tesis ini yaitu: (1) pengelolaan program parenting di PAUD Non Formal Insan Kamil, (2) penerapan prinsip andragogi pada program parenting di PAUD Non Formal Insan Kamil, (3) analisis penerapan prinsip pembelajaran andragogi pada program parenting di PAUD Non Formal Insan Kamil dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pengasuhan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesimpulan bahwa penerapan prinsip andragogi program parenting di PAUD Non Formal Insan Kamil dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pengasuhan anak. Orang tua sebagai peserta program parenting memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menstimulasi yang sesuai dengan perkembangan emosi anak usia dini. This thesis is entitled "Application of Andragogy Principles in Parenting Programs in Improving Child Care (Study in Non-Formal PAUD Insan Kamil, Giri Mekar Village, Cilengkrang District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province)". The author's background for taking this title is due to the lack of attention from parenting program participants in stimulating the emotional development of early childhood, secondly, the participants' diverse backgrounds, both educational, social, and economic, thus require the application of andragogy principles. Third, participants did not realize that the inability of parenting appropriately in responding to emotions would worsen their emotional development. Fourth, the parenting program is an important activity to be held for Insan Kamil's Non-Formal PAUD institutions, but so far there has been no known improvement in childcare capabilities. The focus of this thesis research is: (1) the management of parenting programs in Insan Kamil's Non-Formal PAUD, (2) the application of andragogy principles to the parenting program of Insan Kamil's Non-Formal PAUD, (3) analysis of the application of andragogy learning principles to the parenting program of Non-Formal PAUD. Insan Kamil in improving the ability to care for early childhood. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, and case studies. The results showed the conclusion that the application of andragogy principles of parenting programs in Insan Kamil's Non-Formal PAUD can improve the ability of parenting. Parents as participants in the parenting program acquire knowledge and skills in stimulating appropriate to the emotional development of early childhood.
