PENERAPAN MODEL STUDENT TEAM ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION UNTUK PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMA PAHLAWANKU DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Summary

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil pembelajaran siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Karangtengah pada pembelajaran tematik yang disebabkan oleh penerapan model pembelajaran yang kurang inovatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran tema Pahlawanku sehingga berdampak positif pada hasil pembelajaran melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Karangtengah yang berjumlah 38 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan pengamatan dan tes tertulis. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah daftar cek dan soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) upaya peningkatan perbaikan hasil belajar pada tema Pahlawanku melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD telah berhasil dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah: guru menyampaikan materi pembelajaran, siswa belajar dalam tim, siswa mengerjakan tes secara mandiri, dan guru memberikan penghargaan tim; 2) penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa. Hal ini tampak dari peningkatan skor rata-rata aktivitas siswa dari kondisi awal sebesar 4,89 (rendah) menjadi 8,16 (sedang) pada siklus I dan menjadi 10,87 (tinggi) pada siklus II.; dan 3) penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini tampak dari peningkatan rata-rata nilai siswa dari kondisi awal sebesar 62,37 pada kondisi awal menjadi 71,84 pada siklus I, dan menjadi 83,29 pada siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan KKM (70) siswa dari kondisi awal sebesar 26% pada kondisi awal menjadi 58% pada siklus I, dan menjadi 82% pada siklus II. Kata Kunci : Model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), tema Pahlawanku ----- This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of grade IV SDN 3 Karangtengah students on thematic learning by applying a less innovative learning model. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning process of my hero theme so that it has a positive impact on learning outcomes through the application of cooperative learning models of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type. This type of research is Class Action Research conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDN 3 Karangtengah which numbered 38 people. This research data collection technique uses written observations and tests. The instruments used are checklists and MCQs. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that: 1) efforts to improve the improvement of learning outcomes on the theme of my hero through the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model had been successfully carried out by steps: the teacher delivered learning material, students studied in teams, students worked on the tests independently, and the teacher gave team awards ; 2) the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve student learning activities. This can be seen from the increase in the average score of student activity from the initial conditions of 4.95 (low) to 7.89 (moderate) in the first cycle and to 10.41 (high) in the second cycle; and 3) the application of the STAD cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in the average value of students from the initial condition of 62.37 in the initial condition to 71.84 in the first cycle, and to 83.29 in the second cycle. The KKM completeness percentage (70) of the initial conditions was 26% in the initial condition to 58% in the first cycle, and to 82% in the second cycle.
