Central Statistics Agency (BPS) data shows that in February 2020, the unemployment rate continued to grow until the number now reached 6.88 million people. Solving these labor problems is very much needed to improve the Indonesian economy. One form of solution to these problems is the provision of knowledge and skills in the working world. This knowledge can be conveyed online related to technological advances and the 4.0 industrial revolution that is happening, using media or applications that are easy to operate. The application used must be able to reduce the existing distance, and must support the delivery of material in real time. One application that meets the criteria mentioned above is Discord. This research was conducted to develop pre-employment training media based on the Discord application. The research design used in this study was a Design and Development (D&D) model. Participants in this study consisted of material/content experts and participants who were the general public. The data collection in this study was entirely carried out based on a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire. The analytical method used in this study uses descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the Discord application can be used as a medium for implementing pre-employment training webinars. The media development stage begins with creating accounts, servers, message channels and voice channels in the Discord application. The use of features in the Discord application has succeeded in supporting the process of delivering material on the webinar. Based on the questionnaire answers from the participants and the interview results from the presenters, it can be concluded that Discord is suitable to be used as a medium for conducting pre-employment training webinars.
