Summary

This study contains about the development of a design application smartphone particularly in the subject simulation and digital communications (SIMKOMDIG).The purpose of this research is:first have a sense of design development SIMKOMDIG. smartphone in application. Both, is an illustration of the motivation to study or response to the design students smartphone. Research methodology used is R & D, research instrument are survey, interviews and documentationi. This study was conducted in SMK 1 MJPS Tasikmalaya city and the number of students X class 25 one whose learned SIMKOMDIG subjects. SIMKOMDIG application in the findings of research first, : consisting of using design SIMKOMDIG application used in learning online student will in the covid-19 is valid application and to continue to be used in the school, SIMKOMDIG according to the results of an assessment of the matter and the validator design with the 92,1% and 71,5%.. The results of the motivation to study or response to the design students SIMKOMDIG application this was in the average 73,5 with medium category.
