Di Kecamatan Parongpong jumlah penduduk anak usia SMP, SMA cukup banyak namun anak yang sekolah di Kecamatan Parongpong begitu berbanding terbalik dengan anak usia sekolahnya namun pada tingkatan SD presentasenya sangat kecil, hal inilah yang menjadi tujuan untuk mengetahui daya tampung sekolah, mengetahui aksesbilitas penduduk, serta mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mendukung terhadap pemilihan lokasi sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dengan populasi wilayah dan populasi manusia meliputi seluruh warga dan wilayah Kecamatan Parongpong. Sampel sebanyak sebanyak 77 orang dari 3 desa, yaitu penduduk yang memiliki anak usia sekolah SD, SMP, dan SMA. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa, observasi, wawancara, studi literatur, dan studi dokumentasi. Variabel yang digunakan adalah variabel tunggal yaitu daya tampung, aksesbilitas, dan lokasi sekolah. Analisis data menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa daya tampung sekolah pada tingkatan SD Sangat mencukupi untuk menampung jumlah anak usia sekolah, sedangkan pada tingkat SMP & SMA jumlah daya tampung dan jumlah sekolah masih sangat minim bahkan sangat kurang. Pada tingkat SD & SMP faktor aksesbilitas jarak yang dekat paling dominan berpengaruh. Penduduk yang rumahnya dekat dengan Kota Cimahi mereka lebih memilih bersekolah ke Kota Cimahi begitu juga kota lainnya, sedangkan pada tingkatan SMA faktor aksesbilitas tidak berpengaruh, banyak anak yang lokasi sekolahnya jauh dari tempat tinggalnya. Faktor pendukung pemilihan lokasi sekolah untuk tingkat SD dan SMP adalah jarak sedangkan untuk tingkat SMA adalah faktor fasilitas pendidikan dan daya tampung sekolah yang lebih menentukan. In subdistrict Parongpong population aged children junior high School and Senior High School pretty much but boy that Parongpong sub district schools amount to little, but at the level of primary school the percentage is very small, this is the purpose to know the capacity of the school, knowing the accessibility residents, as well as find out what factors support the choice of location of the school. The research method used is descriptive method, with the population of the area and the human population covers the entire citizens and subdistrict Parongpong. Sample as many as 77 people from three villages, namely population who have school-aged children elementary, junior high School , and Senior high school. Results of the research note that the capacity of the school at the elementary level Is sufficient to accommodate the number of school age children, while in Junior High School levels & Senior high School amount of capacity and the number of schools is still very minimal even very less. At the elementary level & Junior High School factor accessibility close proximity most dominant effect. Residents whose house near the city of Cimahi they prefer to go to other cities as well as in Cimahi, while on a Senior High School level accessibility factors affecting many children in his school's location away from his home. Supporting site selection factors for elementary level School and junior high school is the Senior High School level as for the distance is a factor of education facilities and the capacity of the School is dictates.
