520 |a This research aims to investigate whether comic strips are able to help to enhance students' writing skills in online learning and to examine the students' responses regarding the use of comic strips in online learning. The research was conducted in one Senior High School in Bandung employing pre-experimental One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. In conducting this research, the researcher used tests (pre-test and pro-test) and questionnaire as the instruments to twenty six students in the 10th grade of Senior High School. The pre-test was conducted before giving the treatment to find out the students' narrative writing skills before using comic strips, while the post-test was used to measure and to find out the students' narrative writing skills after giving the treatment. The result of the data demonstrated that using comic strips to enhance students' narrative writing skills, it can be seen the result of the paired sample test showed the mean differences between the pre-test and post-test was 14.96154. Moreover, students' responses revealed a positive attitude process, it can be seen that the percentage for each indicators is more than 90 percent. Thus, by using comic strips the students' score is improved and this medium is applicable and effective to improve writing skills, especially in Senior High School.
