Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara locus of control dengan homesickness pada mahasiswa rantau di Kota Bandung selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan responden 121 orang mahasiswa rantau yang tinggal di Kota bandung saat masa pandemi Covid-19. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen the internal-external (I-E) untuk mengukur locus of control dan instrumen Homesickness Questionnaire (HQ) untuk mengukur homesickness. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis korelasi rank spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan yang bersifat negatif antara locus of control dan homesickness. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa locus of control internal berhubungan dengan homesickness yang rendah dan sebaliknya locus of control eksternal berhubungan dengan homesickness yang tinggi. Kata kunci: locus of control, homesickness, mahasiswa rantau. This study aims to determine the relationship between locus of control and homesickness in overseas students in Bandung during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative method with 121 overseas students as respondents living in the city of Bandung during the Covid-19 pandemic. The instrument in this study used the internal-external (I-E) instrument to measure locus of control and the Homesickness Questionnaire (HQ) instrument to measure homesickness. The analysis technique in this study uses rank spearman correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a significant negative relationship between locus of control and homesickness. These results indicate that internal locus of control is associated with low homesickness and conversely external locus of control is associated with high homesickness.
