ABSTRAK Skripsi ini berjudul "Peran K.H. Anwar Musaddad dalam Bidang Dakwah dan Pendidikan di Al-Musaddadiyah 1990-1999". Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan jejak langkah K.H. Anwar Musaddad dalam bidang dakwah dan pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Musaddadiyah 1990-1999. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah metode historis yang meliputi, memilih topik yang sesuai, mengusut bukti yang relevan dengan topik, membuat catatan yang relevan dengan topik, mengevaluasi bukti yang ditemukan, menyusun hasil penelitian secara sistematis, dan menyajikan hasil penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh beberapa kesimpulan. Pertama latar belakang kehidupan K.H. Anwar Musaddad dimulai dengan didikan keluarga terdekat, setelah itu meneruskan pencarian ilmunya ke sekolah-sekolah Kristen bentukan Belanda, hingga akhirnya berkelana mencari ilmu agama Islam sampai ke Mekkah. Kedua, upaya yang dilakukan oleh K.H. Anwar Musaddad dalam mengembangkan bidang dakwah dan pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Musaddadiyah sejak tahun 1990 hingga tahun 1999, dengan mendirikan sebuah lembaga Yayasan Al-Musaddadiyah. Ketiga, upaya Lembaga Pondok Pesantren Al-Musaddadiyah dalam menghadapi perkembangan zaman, dengan mengadakan majelis ta'lim setiap minggunya, hingga mengadakan pasar pesantren yang lokasinya berdekatan dengan pondok pesantren. Kata Kunci: Pondok Pesantren Al-Musaddadiyah, K.H. Anwar Musaddad, Dakwah, Pendidikan. ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled "The role of K.H. Anwar Musaddad in the Field of Da'wah and Education at Al-Musaddadiyah 1990-1999". The main objective of this study is to reveal the footprints of K.H. Anwar Musaddad in the field of da'wah and education at the Al-Musaddadiyah Islamic Boarding School 1990-1999. The method used in writing this thesis is the historical method which includes selecting an appropriate topic, examining evidence relevant to the topic, making notes relevant to the topic, evaluating the evidence found, compiling research results systematically, and presenting research results. Based on the results of the study, several conclusions were obtained. First, the background of K.H. Anwar Musaddad started with the education of his closest family, after that he continued his search for knowledge to Christian schools established by the Dutch, until finally traveling to seek knowledge of Islam to Mecca. Second, the efforts made by K.H. Anwar Musaddad in developing the field of da'wah and education at the Al-Musaddadiyah Islamic Boarding School from 1990 to 1999, by establishing an institution called the Al-Musaddadiyah Foundation. Third, the efforts of the Al-Musaddadiyah Islamic Boarding School in dealing with the times, by holding ta'lim assemblies every week, to holding a boarding school market which is located close to the Islamic boarding school.
