Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Aplikasi dan Model Sistem Informasi Geografis dalam menentukan Zonasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru SMAN di Kabupaten Indramayu berdasarkan jarak dan pola buffering. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Spasial Analysis. Dengan menggunakan fitur Buffering yang disajikan dalam betuk peta model dengan perangkat lunak ArcMap. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Indramayu. Variabel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan variabel tunggal. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa peta keseluruhan zonasi PPDB SMAN di Kabupaten Indramayu. Terdapat beberapa daerah yang tidak tecover oleh zonasi akan tetapi, daerah-daerah tersebut dapat melakukan kesepakatan tertulis antar pemerintah daerah yang saling berbatasan. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa SIG dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menentukan zonasi PPDB SMAN di Kabupaten Indramayu. Kata Kunci : PPDB, Zonasi, Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). The purpose of this study is to determine the application and model of the Geographic Information System in determining the zoning of acceptance for new students at SMAN in Indramayu Regency based on distance and buffering patterns. The method in this study uses the Spatial Analysis method. By using the Buffering feature which is presented in the form of a model map with ArcMap software. The population in this study were all public high schools in Indramayu Regency. The variables in this study used a single variable. The results of this study are in the form of a map of the entire PPDB State High School zoning in Indramayu Regency. There are several areas that are not covered by zoning, however, these areas can carry out a written agreement between regional governments that border each other. The role of GIS in determining PPDB zoning uses a 4 km radius buffering feature from the location of the Public High School to the residence of prospective students. Based on the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the use of the GIS be used determine for zoning school in Indramayu Regency. Keywords : PPDB, Zoning, Geographic Information System (GIS).
