Summary:Badminton achievements in Indonesia are currently starting to regress, especially in the women's singles and men's singles sectors. Therefore, for coaches throughout Indonesia, this problem is a challenge to strive for improved training, especially the physical condition of athletes. In doing badminton training, one of them is the shadow training method to increase the agility of badminton athletes. This study aims to determine the influence and magnitude of the influence of the shadow training method on the agility of badminton games. The yamg method used is a quantitative research method with a research design using One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 30 athletes who were determined using purposive sampling techniques. The results of this study showed that the significance value was smaller α = sig. 0.002 <0.05). So that the H1 hypothesis is accepted, there is an influence of the shadow training method on the agility of badminton games in Cirebon regency. The shadow training method contributes to agility obtained by the r-square test data in this test shows that the results of 0.738 can be called correlated and from these data shows that there is a correlation which means that there is a contribution from the shadow training method to the agility of badminton games in Cirebon regency of 73,8%.This result can be seen from the attachment of the attendance list, the results of research observations and athletes' adaptation to the treatment method of shadow training which showed an increase in each meeting.
