Summary:Accounting education is aimed at enabling the students to have vocational competence in accounting as their life skills needed to be independent people. In this sense, the arising problem is whether professional accounting teachers' services and students' socio-economical status influence students' learning motivation, and whether these are implications to students' accounting vocational competence. The present study is intended to investigate: 1) the relationship between professional accounting teachers' services, parents' socio-economical status toward students' learning motivation in accounting. 2) the relationship between students' learning motivation toward students' vocational accounting competence, 3) the relationship between professional accuonting teachers' services, parents' socio-economical status toward students' vocational accounting competence,. Survey was used in the present study. Students of vocational hight school in East Priangan (of West Java Province) were selected as the population and cluster sampling was used in the study. The instruments used in the study included questionnaires and interview. In analyzing the collected data, path analysis was used. The findings of the present study suggest that 1) there is positive and significance relationship between professional accounting teacher's services, parents' socio-economical status toward students' motivation in learning accounting; 2) there is positive and significance relationship between students' learning motivation toward students' accounting vocational competence; 3) there is positive and significance relationship between professional accounting teachers' services, parent' socio-economical status toward students' accounting vocational competence;
