Summary:This study investigated the lecturers'strategies in teaching EFL literature. The research data were collected through observation, interview, and document analysis. The research findings are that the respondents still used an expository approach in the literature teaching, and did not implement the explorative methods. The lecturers still had a lot of problems in improving their literature teaching procedures. They attempted to overcome the difficulty by raising some alternative solutions. Problems around methods, techniques, approach practiced by the lecturers in the literature teaching can eventually be identified. To solve the problems, the lecturers proposed a number of solutions in the literature teaching.
