Diketahui bahwa guru menjadi seorang pengajar didasarkan atas keinginan dalam diri untuk mengamalkan ilmu yang dimiliki. Meskipun begitu, masih terdapat guru yang hanya memberikan tugas kepada siswa tanpa datang ke sekolah. Salah satu faktor yang diduga dapat mengakibatkan kondisi tersebut adalah motivasi kerja guru. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi motivasi kerja guru adalah kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah. Penelitian ini berfokus pada kepemimpinan spiritual dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan spiritual Kepala Madrasah terhadap motivasi kerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Se-Kecamatan Cimahi Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel total. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,586 > 0,327 (r tabel) dan memperoleh nilai signifikansi koefisien sebesar 5,556 > 2,662 (t tabel), artinya terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan spiritual Kepala Madrasah terhadap motivasi kerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Se-Kecamatan Cimahi Utara. Hubungan tersebut berada pada kategori cukup kuat. Kepemimpinan spiritual Kepala Madrasah memberikan kontribusi sebesar 34,4% terhadap motivasi kerja guru, sisanya 65,6% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Pada indikator motivasi kerja, prestasi adalah indikator yang memiliki skor terendah. Strategi yang dapat dilakukan Kepala Madrasah guna meningkatkan dorongan atau keinginan guru untuk berprestasi, yaitu mengidentifikasi keunggulan yang dimiliki sekolah yang dapat menjadi faktor pendorong guru dalam berprestasi. The results of a preliminary study at the Islamic Senior High School in the North Cimahi District were the basis for this research. It is known that the teacher becomes a teacher based on the inner desire to practice the knowledge possessed. Even so, there are still teachers who only give assignments to students without coming to school. The motivation of the teacher at work is one of the elements that may contribute to this condition. The Headmaster's leadership is one of the elements that affects teachers' work motivation. The purpose of this research, which focuses on spiritual leadership, is to describe and analyze the impact of the headmaster's spiritual leadership on the work motivation of the teachers at the Islamic Senior High School in the Cimahi Utara District. A descriptive methodology and a quantitative approach are used in this study. The sample used is the total sample. The variables in the research that were measured were spiritual leadership (X) and teacher work motivation (Y). The analysis of the data produced a correlation coefficient value of 0.586 > 0.327 (r table) and a coefficient significance value of 5.556 > 2.662 (t table), indicating that the spiritual leadership of the Headmaster had a positive and significant impact on the work motivation of the teachers at the Islamic Senior High School in North Cimahi District. This connection is classified as fairly strong. The Headmaster's spiritual leadership had a 34.4 percent influence on the teacher's motivation to work; the remaining 65.6 percent was influenced by other factors. Achievement has the lowest score on the indicator of work motivation. The Headmaster can use a strategy to increase the desire or encouragement of teachers to achieve success, such as by identifying the advantages of the school that can serve as a driving force for teachers to achieve. |
