Dalam bahasa Jerman terdapat beberapa preposisi yang memiliki arti sama, salah satunya von dan aus. Namun, keduanya dapat dibedakan berdasarkan makna kontekstual. Banyaknya preposisi von dan aus dalam tuturan yang ditemukan pada roman "Ein wahrer Apfel leuchtete am Himmelszelt" karya Sabine Peters tahun 2020 perlu adanya penelitian dalam studi linguistik pragmatik. Kajian tindak tutur dalam pragmatik bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna dari ucapan yang dimaksudkan oleh penutur. Adapun tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memahami: 1) Jenis-jenis tindak tutur dari tuturan yang terdapat preposisi von dan aus dalam sumber data, 2) Fungsi tindak tutur dari tuturan yang terdapat preposisi von dan aus dalam sumber data, dan 3) Makna kontekstual dari preposisi von dan aus dalam tuturan yang ada pada sumber data. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ada 65 tuturan yang di dalamnya terdapat preposisi von dan aus. Di antaranya ada yang termasuk jenis tindak tutur lokusi, sebagian besar tindak tutur ilokusi, dan tindak tutur perlokusi. Fungsi tindak tutur yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini berfungsi sebagai asertif yang paling banyak ditemukan, deklaratif, disertif, ekspresif, dan komisif. Selanjutnya, makna kontekstual dari preposisi aus dalam tuturan yang telah dianalisis tersebut antara lain 'dari', 'dari dalam', 'keluar', 'keluar dari', 'terbuat dari' dan 'berasal dari', sedangkan makna kontekstual dari preposisi von yaitu 'dari', 'tentang', 'oleh', 'milik', 'mulai', 'sejak', pada frasa "von wegen" berarti 'tidak mungkin' dan "von gleich zu gleich" yang bermakna 'satu sama lain', serta diperoleh gabungan makna pada frasa "von mir aus" yang berarti 'saya tidak keberatan'. Kata Kunci: fungsi tindak tutur, jenis tindak tutur, makna kontekstual, preposisi von dan aus. In German there are several prepositions that have the same meaning, one of them is von and aus. However, both can be distinguished based on contextual meaning. There's a lot of prepositions of von and aus in novel "Ein wahrer Apfel leuchtete am Himmelszelt" by Sabine Peters in 2020, so that there is needed for research in the study of pragmatic linguistics. The study of speech acts in pragmatics aims to find out the meaning or meaning of the speech intended by the speaker. The purpose of this research is to find out and understand: 1) The types of speech acts of speech that contain the prepositions of von and aus in the data source, 2) Functions of speech acts of speech that contain the preposition of von and aus in the data source, and 3) The contextual meaning of the prepositions of von and aus in the data source. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of this research, there are 65 speeches that contains the prepositions of von and aus. Among them, t here the types of locutionary speech act, most of the illocutionary speech act, and perlocutionary speech act. The function of speech acts found in this study functions as the most common assertives, declarative, disertives, expressives, and commissives. Furthermore, the contextual meaning of the preposition of aus in the speech that has been analyzed include 'from', 'out', and 'derived from', while the contextual meaning of von's preposition is 'from', 'by', 'belongs', and at the phrase "von wegen" means 'impossible', as well as the combined meaning of the phrase "von mir aus" which means 'I don't mind'.
