ABSTRAK STEM Quartet Model merupakan aktivitas pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan empat disiplin ilmu khususnya untuk menyelesaikan masalah di kehidupan modern abad 21. Penelitian ini menggunakan STEM Quartet Model yang berfokus pada topik space education yaitu perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa serta mengidentifikasi setiap aspek kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan STEM Quartet Model pada materi perubahan iklim. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu STEM Quartet Model dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam kategori yang tinggi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu SMP di kota Bandung dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 45 orang yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode eksperimental dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental design jenis one-group pretest-posttest design. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan data kuantitatif sebagai data utama didukung dengan data kualitatif. Kemampuan berpikir kritis diukur dengan instrumen tes yang terdiri atas tujuh soal uraian yang mengacu pada indikator berpikir kritis Ennis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat peningkatan antara hasil pre test terhadap post test siswa dengan besarnya peningkatan dihitung dengan n-gain berada dalam kategori sedang (<g> = 0,55). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa STEM Quartet Model dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa khususnya pada jenjang menengah. Kata Kunci : STEM, Perubahan Iklim, Berpikir Kritis ABSTRACT The STEM Quartet Model is a learning activity that integrates four disciplines, especially to solve problems in modern 21st century life. This study uses the STEM Quartet Model which focuses on the topic of space education, namely climate change. This study aims to analyze the improvement of students' critical thinking skills and identify every aspect of students' critical thinking skills after learning with the STEM Quartet Model on climate change material. The hypothesis in this study is the STEM Quartet Model can increase the critical thinking ability on high category. This research was conducted in one of the junior high schools in Bandung with a total sample of 45 people who were selected through purposive sampling. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a pre-experimental design of the type of one-group pretest-posttest design. In this study, quantitative data were obtained as the main data supported by qualitative data. Critical thinking ability is measured by a test instrument consisting of seven description questions that refer to Ennis' critical thinking indicators. The results showed that there was an increase between the results of the pre-test and the post-test of students with the magnitude of the increase calculated by the n-gain score being in the medium category (<g> = 0.55). So it can be concluded that the STEM Quartet Model can improve students' critical thinking skills, especially at the secondary level. Keywords: STEM, Climate Change, Critical Thinking
