Persepsi dari setiap individu berbeda-beda dan banyak aspek yang dapat mempengaruhi seseorang termasuk dalam hal yang mengenai minat karir. Minat karir siswa setelah lulus dari SMK akan mengarah untuk bekerja, melanjutkan studi atau berwirausaha. Minat karir siswa paska lulus akan berkaitan dengen persepsi siswa tentang kesiapan dalam mengikuti Uji Kompetensi Keahlian sebagai salah satu sarana mengukur dan menilai penguasaan kompetensi yang dimiliki siswa serta mempunyai tujuan agar siswa dapat memilih peluang karir mana yang akan dipilih setelah lulus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui (1) persepsi siswa dalam kesiapan mengikuti Uji Kompetensi Keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) di SMKN 7 Baleendah, (2) minat karir DPIB siswa setelah lulus SMKN 7 Baleendah, dan (3) mendeskripsikan besaran hubungan persepsi siswa dalam kesiapan mengikuti Uji Kompetensi Keahlian dengan minat karir DPIB siswa SMKN 7 Baleendah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket, baik untuk variabel persepsi siswa dalam kesiapan mengikuti Uji Kompetensi Keahlian dan minat karir DPIB. Temuan penelitian ini yakni: (1) persepsi siswa dalam kesiapan mengikuti Uji Kompetensi Keahlian secara umum cenderung termasuk dalam kategori cukup; (2) minat karir DPIB siswa secara umum cenderung dalam kategori cukup dan mengarah untuk bekerja setelah lulus; dan (3) hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara persepsi siswa dalam kesiapan mengikuti Uji Kompetensi Keahlian dengan minat karir DPIB siswa kelas XII kompetensi keahlian DPIB SMKN 7 Baleendah pada kategori kuat. The perception of each individual is different and there are many aspects that can affect a person, including those concerning career interests. Career interests of students after graduating from Vocational School will lead to work, continuing studies or entrepreneurship. Career interest of students after graduation will be related to students' perceptions of readiness to take the Skills Competency Test as a means of measuring and assessing the mastery of competencies possessed by students and has the aim that students can choose which career opportunities will be chosen after graduation. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) student perceptions in readiness to take the Building Modeling and Information Design (DPIB) Skills Competency Test at SMKN 7 Baleendah, (2) students' interest in DPIB careers after graduating from SMKN 7 Baleendah, and (3) describe the magnitude of students' perception relationships in readiness to take the Skills Competency Test with the career interests of DPIB students at SMKN 7 Baleendah. The research method used is descriptive correlational method with a quantitative approach. Research instruments use questionnaires, both for students' perception variables in readiness to take the Skills Competency Test and students' interest in the career of DPIB. The findings of this study are: (1) students' perceptions of readiness to take the Skills Competency Test in general tend to be included in the moderate category; (2) the career interests of DPIB students in general tend to be in the moderate category and lead to work after graduation; and (3) the results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between students' perceptions in readiness to take the Skills Competency Test and the career interest in Design Modeling And Building Information Of Third Grade Of DPIB Students at SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah in the strong category.
