Pada faktor kepribadian bahwa self-esteem menjadi salah satu faktor dari kekerasan dalam pacaran karena jika seseorang memiliki self-esteem yang tinggi baik pelaku maupun korban. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan self-esteem dengan toxic relationship pada mahasiswa Lingkungan Fakultas Pendidikan Olahraga dan Kesehatan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional dan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu Non-Probability Sampling, dengan subjek 100 orang. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran instrumen berupa kuesioner yang diolah menggunakan uji Spearman's Rank Order Correlation dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,378 dengan nilai p=0,000. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan profil self-esteem mahasiswa berada pada kategori tinggi, gambaran profil toxic relationship mahasiswa berada pada kategori rendah, terdapat hubungan negatif antara self-esteem dengan toxic relationship. Hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan untuk pengembangan program pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di Perguruan Tinggi khususnya mahasiswa yang mengalami toxic relationship. The research is based on the phenomenon of toxic relationships that still occur in educational institutions. Several factors cause a toxic relationship, one of which is the personality factor. On the personality factor, self-esteem is a factor in dating violence because if someone has high self-esteem, both the perpetrator and the victim. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-esteem and toxic relationship among environmental students, at the Faculty of Sports and Health Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The approach used is quantitative with the correlational method and the sampling technique is Non-Probability Sampling, with 100 subjects as a subject. Data was obtained through the distribution of instruments in the form of a questionnaire which was processed using the Spearman's Rank Order Correlation test with a correlation coefficient value of -0,378 with a p-value of 0,000. The results of this study indicate that the student's self-esteem profile is in the high category, the profile description of the student's toxic relationship is in the low category, and there is a negative relationship between self-esteem and toxic relationship. The results of the research can be used as a reference for the development of programs for implementing guidance and counseling services in universities, especially for students who go through toxic relationships. |
