Summary:Vocational/vocational education as part of the national education system plays a very strategic role for the realization of a skilled workforce. From various studies that the opportunity to have high and sustainable economic growth from a country will be even greater if it is supported by human resources who have it, but in reality in vocational schools where there are children with special needs, namely children with mental retardation, unite to study with other normal students, it turns out that there are always problems. , most normal students do not empathize with students with special needs such as in one school in Bandung, SMK BPP Bandung. The purpose of this research is to apply a project based learning model in learning Nusantara dance creations in an inclusive class that involves normal students and students with special needs in one study room to increase empathy for students at SMK BPP Bandung. The method used is an experimental research method with a quantitative paradigm. The samples used were 20 normal children and 2 children with special needs. The data obtained comes from the results of observations, literature reviews, documentation studies, tests. Data analysis was carried out through the T test. From the results of the pretest the average score of students was 71 and the posttest score was 79, 80. It can be concluded that the project based learning model in learning Indonesian dance creations has an influence on students' empathy, which is indicated by the difference in values between the pre test and posttest.
