Tindak kriminalitas dapat mempengaruhi keamanan serta mengancam ketenangan lahir dan batin masyarakat. Ketika masyarakat merasa terancam keamanannya, maka kemungkinan besar dapat mempengaruhi kesejahteraan dan ketentraman masyarakat tersebut. Melihat Kota Bogor yang mengalami pembangunan yang terus-menerus berkembang, maka sewajarnya apabila semua pihak terutama pihak kepolisian Kota Bogor untuk mengetahui secara pasti pola persebaran terjadinya tindak kriminalitas di Kota Bogor yang terus menerus memberikan keresahan bagi penduduk kota. Hal tersebut berguna demi terciptanya lingkungan yang aman dan tertib. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Metode ini dipilih karena karakteristiknya yang terstruktur, sistematis dan terencana secara jelas dari awal penelitian hingga pada proses pembuatan desain penelitian. Kejadian tindak kriminal berupa pencurian di Kota Bogor tersebar di beberapa titik seperti pusat kegiatan penduduk dan titik - titik keramaian lainnya yang tak jarang ditemukan titik pengawasan anggota kepolisian. Hal tersebut terjadi sehingga membentuk sebuah pola persebaran. Model pemetaan kriminalitas dapat menampilkan informasi tertentu yang dapat memberi pemahaman berupa visualisasi, dalam hal ini pemetaan tindak kriminalitas dapat memberikan informasi mengenai intensitas terjadinya tindak kriminal, persebaran dan pola tindak kriminalitas di Kota Bogor. Metode ini dipilih karena karakteristiknya yang terstruktus, sistematis dan terencana dengan jelas dari awal penelitian hingga proses pembuatan desain penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan pola persebaran tindak kriminal dan wilayah dengan tingkat kerawanan kriminalitas yang berbeda. Penelitian ini juga mneghasilkan hasil analisis SWOT berupa strategi dalam upaya menekan dan mengantisipasi tindak kriminal serta tingkat kerawanannya. Crime is one of the social problems that arise due to several factors, namely economic and psychological. Crimes can affect security and threaten the inner and other peace of society. When people feel that their security is threatened, it is likely to affect the welfare and peace of the citizen. Seeing the city of Bogor that is experiencing development that continues to grow, it is only natural that all parties, especially the Bogor City police, must know for sure the pattern of distribution of criminal acts in the city of Bogor, which continues to cause unrest for the city's residents. This is useful for the creation of a safe and orderly environment. In this research, quantitative research methods were used. This method was chosen because of its planned, systematic and clearly structured characteristics from the beginning to the process of making the research design. Incidents of criminal acts in the form of theft in the city of Bogor are spread at several points, such as centers of population activity and other crowded points where police officers are often monitored. This happens so as to form a distribution pattern. The crime mapping model can display certain information that can provide understanding in the form of visualization. In this case, the crime mapping model can provide information about the intensity of crime, the distribution and pattern of crime in the city of Bogor. The results of the research show a pattern of distribution of crime and areas with different levels of vulnerability to crime. This study also produces the results of a SWOT analysis in the form of strategies in an effort to suppress and anticipate crime and the level of vulnerability. |
