sehingga kerap muncul permasalahan dalam pelaksanaan PPLSP yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi guru. Tujuan penelitian ini diperoleh informasi mengenai kategori tinggi, sedang, atau rendah pada pemahaman mahasiswa diantaranya: (1) aspek inferensi terhadap kompetensi pedagogik, (2) aspek mengklasifikasikan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik, (3) aspek mencontohkan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik, (4) aspek menjelaskan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik, (5) aspek inferensi terhadap kompetensi kepribadian, (6) aspek mengklasifikasikan terhadap kompetensi kepribadian, (7) aspek mencontohkan terhadap kompetensi kepribadian, (8) aspek inferensi terhadap kompetensi sosial, (9) aspek mencontohkan terhadap kompetensi sosial, (10) aspek menjelaskan terhadap kompetensi profesional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui soal pilihan Ganda yang dibagikan kepada 34 orang responden mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Mesin. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Pemahaman mahasiswa dalam aspek inferensi terhadap kompetensi pedagogik berada pada kategori sedang, (2) Pemahaman mahasiswa dalam aspek mengklasifikasikan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik berada pada kategori tinggi, (3) Pemahaman mahasiswa dalam aspek mencontohkan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik berada pada kategori sedang, (4) Pemahaman mahasiswa dalam aspek menjelaskan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik berada pada kategori sedang, (5) Pemahaman dalam aspek inferensi terhadap kompetensi kepribadian berada pada kategori tinggi, (6) Pemahaman mahasiswa dalam aspek mengklasifikasikan terhadap kompetensi kepribadian berada pada kategori sedang, (7) Pemahaman mahasiswa dalam aspek mencontohkan terhadap kompetensi kepribadian berada pada kategori sedang, (8) Pemahaman mahasiswa dalam aspek inferensi terhadap kompetensi sosial berada pada kategori sedang, (9) Pemahaman mahasiswa dalam aspek mencontohkan terhadap kompetensi sosial berada pada kategori sedang, (10) Pemahaman mahasiswa dalam aspek menjelaskan terhadap kompetensi profesional berada pada kategori tinggi. In the implementation of PPLSP teacher competence is often overlooked by students so that problems often arise in the implementation of PPLSP related to teacher competence. The purpose of this study was to obtain information regarding the high, medium, or low categories of student understanding including: (1) aspects of inference to pedagogic competence, (2) aspects of classifying pedagogic competence, (3) aspects of exemplifying pedagogic competence, (4) aspects of explaining to pedagogic competence, (5) inference aspect to personality competence, (6) classifying aspect to personality competence, (7) exemplifying aspect to personality competence, (8) inference aspect to social competence, (9) exemplifying aspect to social competence, ( 10) explaining aspects of professional competence. Data was collected through multiple choice questions which were distributed to 34 respondents from Mechanical Engineering Education students. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Students' understanding in the aspect of inference to pedagogic competence is in the medium category, (2) Students' understanding in the aspect of classifying pedagogic competence is in the high category, (3) Students' understanding in the aspect of exemplifying pedagogic competence is in the high category. in the medium category, (4) students' understanding in the aspect of explaining pedagogic competence is in the medium category, (5) understanding in the inference aspect of personality competence is in the high category, (6) students' understanding in the aspect of classifying personality competencies is in the medium category , (7) Students' understanding in the aspect of exemplifying personality competence is in the medium category, (8) Students' understanding of the inference aspect of social competence is in the medium category, (9) Students' understanding in the aspect of exemplifying social competence is in the sedan category. g, (10) Students' understanding in explaining aspects of professional competence is in the high category.
