Summary: | ABSTRAK Pandangan tentang sejarah sebagai mata ajar membosankan, penuh hafalan, dan kecenderungan guru yang tidak memahami konsep-konsep dasar sejarah seperti historical thinking, menambah persoalan semakin garingnya pembelajaran di ruang kelas. Konsep historical thinking harusnya menjadi dasar memantik minat peserta didik. Dari sini penelitian dilakukan untuk mencari jawaban pertanyaan yang telah dirumuskan, dengan tujuan; 1) menganalisis historical thinking skills guru mata ajar sejarah yang tergabung dalam MGMP Sejarah SMA/MA di Kota Batam sesuai dengan kompetensi dan profesionalitas guru, 2) mengidentifikasi pemahamanan guru mata ajar sejarah yang tergabung dalam MGMP Sejarah SMA/MA di Kota Batam terhadap historical thinking skills, 3) mendeskripsikan pentingnya reintepretasi historical thinking skills guru Sejarah melalui MGMP Sejarah SMA/MA di Kota Batam dalam pembelajaran sejarah, dan 4) mengidentifikasi kendala guru mata ajar sejarah yang tergabung dalam MGMP Sejarah di Kota Batam untuk melakukan reintepretasi historical thinking skills. Menggunakan pendekatan etnografi digital hasil yang diperoleh, bahwa guru memiliki beragam cara untuk mereintepretasikan pemahaman historical thinking skill, serta ditemukan guru-guru tidak paham secara tekstual dan konseptual namun sudah mengimplementasikan secara kontekstual. Kata kunci: Historical Thinking Concept, Historical Thinking Skill, MGMP, Pedagogi Historis, Kompetensi dan Profesionalitas ABSTRACT The view of history as a boring subject, full of memorization, and the tendency of teachers who do not understand the basic concepts of history such as historical thinking, add to the problem of increasingly crisp learning in the classroom. The concept of historical thinking should be the basis for sparking the interest of students. From here the research was conducted to find answers to questions that have been formulated, with the aim of; 1) analyze the historical thinking skills of history teachers who are members of the SMA/MA History MGMP in Batam City according to the competence and professionalism of teachers, 2) identify the understanding of history teachers who are members of the SMA/MA History MGMP in Batam City on historical thinking skills, 3) describing the importance of reinterpreting the historical thinking skills of History teachers through the History MGMP of SMA/MA in Batam City in history learning, and 4) identifying the obstacles for history teaching teachers who are members of the History MGMP in Batam City to reinterpret historical thinking skills. Using a digital ethnographic approach, the results obtained are that teachers have various ways of interpreting the understanding of historical thinking skills, and there are still teachers who do not understand textually and conceptually but have implemented contextually.
