Summary: | Moral education in the view of Islam is basically the most important part that a family must always cultivate for the child to grow and develop into the ideal human being. The family plays an important role in the moral process, as families have strategic roles and functions that can be used to build foundations to help children avoid aberrant behavior. But in reality the issue of child devaluation still remains a social problem we often meet in the community especially in the village of Andir, distric Bandung. Parents who work as laborers or workers in industrial companies spend more time for working than educate their children, so that children get less attention, especially in their moral education.The purpose of the study is to explain the conditions, the causes, and the efforts of people in the village of Andir response to the issue of child degeneration. In this study activity researchers use qualitative research approaches and descriptive methods. As for the data-collection techniques used to collect a considerable amount of information needed in this study using observation techniques, interviews and documentary studies. Researchers have been able to explain some things (1)There are several factors that have led to the deterioration of children in the village of Andir first lack of parental attention toward children (educational function), both the parents' lack of knowledge in the implanting of religious values (religious functions), the third effect of improper use of artificial artificial (protective function), And finally bad associations and environments (social function) and (2) there are some efforts that the family has made to improve children's ethics by applying some methods of moral education such as breeding, example, rewards and punishment.
