Summary

The purpose of this study was to describe: (1) How to use word choice in the field trip method for children aged 4-5 years based on word class at Kartika IX-10 Cangkurileung Kindergarten, (2) How to use word choice in the field trip method based on language development planned to understand language and express language at TK Kartika IX-10 Cangkurileung. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The source of the data in this study is the result of the researcher recording at the time of learning observations using the field trip method. The results showed that in the field trip learning method, the choice of words for each child was different, no one was mutlah the same, and for word selection based on word class, the highest percentage of results was nouns 35, 41%, namely 103 words, number words 27, 43%, adjectives 16.70%. However, children are only able to produce a few verbs, namely 17 with a proportion of 5.90%, adverbs 5.90%, pronouns 3.8%, exclamations 2.1%, prepositions 1.04%, conjunctions 1, 04%, even the article doesn't show up at all. And the chosen words based on the language development of the children in Kartika IX-10 Cangkurileung Kindergarten are already able to understand language and express language.
