The success or failure of a company is determined from the performance produced by these human resources. There are many factors that affect employee performance, including emotional intelligence and work conflict. Success in work is not only supported by intellectual ability, but is also supported by the ability to manage emotions that show whether or not how to interact with other people. This study aims to determine and explain the effect of emotional intelligence on employee performance mediated by work conflict. The research method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach to determine the effect between variables, where hypothesis testing uses descriptive statistical analysis and regression analysis. The results show that there is an influence of emotional intelligence on work conflict, there is an influence of emotional intelligence on employee performance, there is an influence of work conflict on employee performance, and there is an influence of emotional intelligence on employee performance mediated by work conflict at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Ciater, Subang, Jawa Barat.
