Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis gambaran aktivitas fisik generasi X dan perbedaan aktivitas fisik pada generasi X berdasarkan gender. Sebanyak 101 masyarakat kota bandung kelompok generasi X menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah convenience campling. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kausal komparatif yang bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan kausal diantara variabel-variabel yang tidak dimanipulasi seperti dalam penelitian eksperimen. Prosedur dalam penelitian ini dengan menyebarkan kuisioner secara online melalui media sosial. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) untuk mengetahui gambaran aktivitas fisik generasi X di Kota Bandung. Data penelitian yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis, analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Statistical Produk for Social Scinece (SPSS) versi 25 dan Uji Mann�Whitney U untuk menentukan aktivitas fisik berdasarkan gender.. Hasil analisis menunjukan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan tingkat aktivitas fisik generasi X di Kota Bandung berdasarkan gender. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan sebagai bahan evaluasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya dan menggunakan instrument yang lebih baik. The purpose of this study was to analyze the description of the physical activity of generation X and differences in physical activity in generation X based on gender. A total of 101 Bandung city residents, the X generation group, were sampled in this study. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling. The method in this study uses comparative causation which aims to examine the causal relationship between variables that are not manipulated as in experimental research. The procedure in this study is by distributing questionnaires online via social media. The instrument used in this research is the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) to describe the physical activity of generation X in Bandung. The research data collected was then analyzed. Data analysis in this study used Statistical Products for Social Science (SPSS) version 25 and the Mann-Whitney U test to determine physical activity based on gender. The results of the analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the level of physical activity in Generation X Bandung city by gender. Recommendations from this study are expected to serve as evaluation material for further research and use better instruments
