Description
----- This study aims to determine the perceptions of experts regarding the intervention of neuroscience aspects on students' learning motivation and to determine the perceptions of elementary school teachers regarding learning motivation and neuroscience. Motivation is important in the learning process because motivation drives students in carrying out learning activities. Several studies have found a relationship between motivation and student learning outcomes. The researcher feels that it is necessary to conduct research on the aspects underlying the emergence of students' learning motivation not only mentally but also biochemically in the body. In addition, teachers need to be involved in research because teachers' perceptions of student learning motivation can directly affect student learning outcomes. The method of research used in this research is using case study research methods. The research data were obtained from interviews with two informants and using a closed questionnaire which was distributed to the respondents. The participants in this study were education practitioners and elementary school teachers. Participant samples were selected based on the sampling technique used, namely purposive sampling technique. The results of the research collected from interviews and studies on the results of previous research show that the intervention of neuroscience aspects such as genes, neurotransmitters, neurons, food nutrition, and body attitudes can influence students' learning motivation. Then the research results collected through a questionnaire show that overall the teacher's perception of learning motivation and neuroscience is at a moderate level.
