Summary:Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya keterampilan berbicara siswa SD selama pembelajaran daring. Kekurangan tersebut meliputi pasifnya siswa dalam kegiatan belajar, siswa belum mampu menceritakan ulang apa yang sudah diceritakan oleh guru maupun orang tuanya, serta kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran oleh guru. Hal tersebut tidak menutup kemungkinan keterampilan berbicara siswa tidak dapat berkembang dengan baik dan motivasi belajar siswa dalam berbahasapun menjadi rendah. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media film animasi terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa SD selama pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini hanya melibatkan satu kelas yaitu kelas III sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan mengambil sampel 30 siswa dari 42 populasi siswa kelas III. Pada awal penelitian dilakukan pre-test sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan dilakukan post-test setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa media film animasi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada peneitian ini berupa pre-test dan post-test. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara inferensial dan deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh menujukkan bahwa penerapan media film animasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III selama pembelajaran daring dinyatakan berhasil. Hal itu dibuktikan dari adanya kenaikan nilai keterampilan berbicara siswa saat pre-test dan post-test. Pada pre-test skor yang didapat siswa rata-rata sebesar 67 dan mengalami peningkatan setelah adanya perlakuan dengan media film animasi, skor yang didapatkan rata-rata siswa saat post-test yaitu 75. Pemerolehan rata-rata tersebut menandakan bahwa terjadi peningkatan sebesar 8% dalam pembelajaran. Artinya, H_1 diterima. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa dengan penggunaan media film animasi dalam pembelajaran memiliki pengaruh terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa. ----- This research is motivated by the lack of speaking skills of elementary school students during online learning. These shortcomings include the passiveness of students in learning activities, students have not been able to retell what has been told by the teacher and their parents, and the lack of use of learning media by the teacher. This does not rule out the possibility that students' speaking skills cannot develop properly and students' learning motivation in language becomes low. The research carried out is an experimental study that aims to determine the effect of the application of animated film media on improving the speaking skills of elementary school students during online learning. This study only involved one class, namely class III as an experimental class by taking a sample of 30 students from 42 population of class III students. At the beginning of the study, a pre-test was carried out before being given treatment and a post-test was carried out after being given treatment in the form of animated film media. Data collection techniques in this research are in the form of pre-test and post-test. The data obtained were then analyzed inferentially and descriptively. The results obtained indicate that the application of animated film media in improving the speaking skills of third grade students during online learning is successful. This is evidenced by the increase in the value of students' speaking skills during the pre-test and post-test. In the pre-test the average score obtained by students was 67 and increased after treatment with animated film media, the average score obtained by students during the post-test was 75. The average gain indicates that there is an increase of 8% in learning. That is, is accepted. This proves that the use of animated film media in learning has an influence on students' speaking skills.
